ALL IN Staff

ALL IN coaches are dedicated to developing players both on and off the basketball court. We are proud to have coaches that are qualified with playing and/or coaching experience. More importantly, our coaches and staff are committed to teaching players values that will help elevate them in basketball and in life.

Every member of the ALL IN coaching staff is a USA Youth Basketball Licensed Coach. We believe our coaching staff is unparalleled in their passion, commitment, dedication & knowledge of the game. 

Billy Welcome

ALL IN Co-Owner & CEO
Billy grew up in Vermont and played college basketball at St. Lawrence University in New York. After graduating in 2004, he moved to Chicago and has been developing basketball players in the area ever since. Before starting ALL IN Athletics, Billy served as the President & Co-Owner of Full Package Boys Basketball. Under his leadership and more than 10 years with the company, the organization grew to become the largest basketball program in the Midwest. As a leader of ALL IN Athletics, Billy will establish a learning environment that encompasses more than high quality basketball instruction but also embraces the culture where family and teamwork is valued.

Matt Truding

ALL IN Co-Owner & President
Matt is regarded as one of the best girls basketball instructors in Illinois. Matt has coached many jr. high and high school teams to top 20 national rankings and numerous AAU State Championships. ALL IN Girls is an adidas® Grassroots Program which is on the Gauntlet Series and considered an adidas® Top 10 program. Before starting ALL IN Athletics, Matt was the President & Co-Owner of Full Package Girls Basketball. He has also coached at various high schools in the area and played at Brandeis University. Matt currently at Deer Path Middle School in Lake Forest. 


  FRONT OFFICE  

Danielle Dishkin

ALL IN Director of Operations
Danielle graduated from Illinois State University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education. She has over 15 years of experience working in youth sports on the North Shore, including Directing the K-2nd grade campers at Game On! Sports Camp for Girls and Coaching for Highland Park Feeder, Sears School, and Full Package.

Before joining ALL IN Athletics, Danielle served as the Director of Operations for Full Package Athletics for 4 years. As Director of Operations at ALL IN Athletics, Danielle is responsible for communication with parents and coaches, schedule coordination and management, and day-to-day operations.

Kelly Bryant

ALL IN Office Manager
Kelly graduated from Goshen College with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and from Roosevelt University with a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Professions. She was in early childhood education for nearly 10 years, including 2 years in administration as an Assistant Director and 6 years as a Director. She has an extensive background in youth program administration and customer service. Kelly is a local mom with a son who is a senior in high school and a daughter in 5th grade. 

Carrie Landmeier

ALL IN HR Manager & Travel Coordinator
Carrie graduated from Bradley University with a Bachelor's of Science in Education.  She has spent the years since as a teacher and Franchise Operations Manager for an early childhood educational program in Arlington Heights, Northbrook and now Vernon Hills. Carrie has over 15 years experience working in and around youth sports organizations as a coordinator for events, fundraiser and volunteer.  She is an avid fan of watching her three sons play basketball, baseball and football.


  DIRECTORS  

Brent Mason

ALL IN Chicago Director
Brent grew up in Indiana where he participated in high school basketball all four years, leading West Lafayette Harrison High to the Sweet Sixteen in 1997, back when every school in the state played one state championship. Inducted into the high school hall of fame in 2014- being the only player in the high schools history to be in the top 10 for points, rebounds, assists and steals. He went on  to play collegiate basketball at DII St. Josephs College in Indiana. There he made All-Freshman Honors and continued his success in becoming All-Conference player Junior and Senior year while also being named a DII All-American. After college he continued his love of basketball and teaching in Indiana before moving to Chicago to further grow his basketball circle. Here he began as Director of Player Development at Illinois Spotlite and helped coach with Larry Butler and the famous Illinois Warriors. After, he joined Full Package Athletics as Director of Player Development, where he met Billy Welcome. He has worked with players in all levels-elementary, high school, college, and professional.Brent has reconnected with Billy here at ALL IN Athletics and will be focusing on building the programs and player development for the city of Chicago.

Bryson “Bubby” Lewis

ALL IN Training Director
Bubby was born in Jeanerette, Louisiana. He was a two-time high school basketball champion. Bubby graduated from Arkansas Baptist with a Associates Degree and Trinity International with a Bachelors Degree. Being coached all of his life, playing sports is second nature to him. Bubby is very vocal, fun, and energetic. He knows what it takes to be great, and as a coach he brings 110% to the gym everyday and builds relationships on and off the courts! Bubbys is ALL IN! Are You?

Donnell Thomas

ALL IN Raiders Director (2nd-5th Grade Boys & Girls)
ALL IN Raiders teams are by Donnell Thomas, a former FIBA Professional, MVP, Chicago Public League and Northern Illinois University Hall of Famer. Alongside Coach Thomas is a staff roster filled with outgoing, knowledgeable and enthusiastic former players & coaches that possess years of professional, collegiate and high school basketball experience.

Jory Snowden

ALL IN Lake County Boys Director
Jory grew up in Buffalo Grove and experienced playing sports at a young age in the park district program. Jory would play in various summer basketball camps, embracing his favorite basketball player, Pistol Pete Maravich. Jory has spent the past 20+ years coaching for various local basketball camps and programs. He has served as the Lake Forest High School boys feeder basketball program for 15+ years and coaches 5th grade basketball at Hough Street Elementary School, where he is also the PE teacher. 

Kahleaf Russell

ALL IN Northwest Girls Director
Kahleaf played collegiate basketball for the University of Miami before transferring to Florida Atlantic University. In the past 10 years, he has become one of the top basketball instructors in the Chicagoland area. In 2014, Kahleaf experienced great success with the teams he coached, including: 14U girls team (adidas® National Champions) & 11U boys team (AAU State Champions & AAU National Classic Champions). As the Director of Player Development, Kahleaf will be responsible for developing and supporting a training curriculum for players, working with coaches to implement the curriculum and working with the Age Group Supervisors to assist with individual team issues, player recruitment and retention.

Stacey Leach

ALL IN Lake County Girls Director
Stacey is the Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Lake Forest High School. She played four years of varsity basketball at Warren Township High School (Gurnee). After high school, she went on to play 4 years of collegiate basketball at the University of Chicago, graduating with a degree in Economics. Stacey went back to school to pursue her Masters in Education at Trinity International University. She graduated in the Spring of 2018 and is now teaching full-time at Warren High School. Prior to landing her current role as a Varsity Head Coach at Lake Forest,  Stacey had coaching roles with Trinity International University, Carmel High School, Warren High School, Libertyville Feeder, New Trier Feeder and the University School of Milwaukee. Stacey has been coaching with ALL IN since the Fall of 2014. As Assistant Director, she focuses mainly on developing and managing the girls teams that practice in the Lake County area.


  COACHING STAFF  

Alan Hofman

Alan played high school basketball at Highland Park High School and walked-on at the University of Illinois. He has over 20 years of experience coaching and running youth sports clinics in the North Shore. Alan has a proven record of motivating players to improve both on an off the court. As a Consultant, Alan will be responsible for developing and creating new programs to better serve the players in our organization. Alan also runs performance training at Illinois Bone & Joint (Highland Park) that provides joint basketball and strength development to players.

Alex Golde

Alex grew up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. She started playing basketball in 2nd grade, and continued to play through high school along with volleyball and soccer. Alex graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Computer Science. Alex has coached travel and high school volleyball along with basketball. She has been coaching for 4 years for the Rolling Meadows Feeder program. Alex is excited to continue developing her coaching abilities so she can help athletes perform on and off the basketball court. 

Alex Spalding

Alex Spalding is a student at Hersey High School. He has played basketball for 11 years, currently playing at the Varsity level right now and has played all throughout middle school as well. He has been playing for ALL IN since the fall of 2020. Coach Alex is a great role model for the players he coaches.

Alonzo Anderson

Coach Anderson grew up in Lombard and graduated from Glenbard South High School in 2009. He went on to attend Harper College to play basketball then transferred to Milwaukee School of Engineering where he was the Men’s Basketball team manager from 2013-2015. During college, he coached for his former travel basketball program. Because of the love of the game, he has decided to continue coaching and is excited to join the ALL IN program. 

Andrea Cannon

Coach Cannon played under Kahleaf Russell during 6th and 7th grade and continued to play on various Elite teams at All In through her sophomore and junior AAU seasons. She played basketball all four years at Hersey High School. Drea coached for All In as a senior in high school and most recently was an assistant coach for the 5th grade Hersey feeder team. She is a recent graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and minors in Spanish and Public Relations. She is currently a sports information graduate assistant at Elmhurst University and will graduate in May 2023 with her MBA.

Antwon Johnson

Antwon Johnson attending Bogan High School, where he was a multi-sport athlete. In addition to coaching for ALL IN, Antwon has coached for the Arlington Heights Park District (grades from 5th-12), Maine West Feeder (7th and 8th Grade), Glenbrook South Feeder (3rd grade) and Hi-Five Sports Clubs (K-4th grade). Coach Johnson was selected to coach in the Jr. NBA events during NBA All-Star Weekend in February of 2020. Antwon is a student of the game and is interested in continuing to develop as a coach to shape players on and off the court.

Basil Blan

Basil Blan was born raised in Park Ridge, Illinois. He played 4 years for an AAU program called Rising Stars. After high school, Basil started coaching 8th graders for the Park Ridge Park District. He coached at the Park District for for about 5 years before he was offered at head coaching position at St. Xavier Middle School in Wilmette. After 5 seasons with St. Xavier he took a couple years off to focus on work. When basketball and other sports came back after the COVID lockdowns, he looked to get back into coaching and found ALL IN Athletics. 

Besar Mahmudi

Besar has 10 years of experience playing organized basketball. He played for the Parsippany PAL in New Jersey and then at Parsippany High School and intramural league at Rider University and Montclair State University. Besar moved to Illinois once he met his wife. They got married and had a baby boy. As soon as he found out he was going to be a dad, he knew he wanted to be his coach one day. Besar began coaching young kids and grew a love for it and became one of the top basketball trainers in Northern Illinois for Hot Shot Sports. He wanted to expand his own knowledge on coaching and grow and knew ALL IN  would be the perfect place where he can help players grow and he can grow along with them. 

Bobby Douglas

Bobby grew up in the Chicago suburbs, attending St. Viator High School in Arlington Heights, where he graduated with Highest Honors and was a 4 sport athlete. After high school, Bobby went to Marquette University and later transferred to Notre Dame University to finish out his studies. At Notre Dame, Bobby worked as a Marketing Intern for the Notre Dame Athletics Department.

Bobby has been working in youth basketball since 2015, working for the Mike Small Basketball Camp as an instructor, referee and evaluator. He started a YouTube channel in 2020 that has grown to over 150,000 views, which focuses on evaluating NBA draft talent and college basketball. Bobby's basketball knowledge, playing experience and academic background will undoubtedly help the ALL IN players he coaches develop both on and off the court.

Caitlin Morrison

Caitlin grew up in Glenview, Illinois. She graduated from Glenbrook South High School in 2016 and played for All In Athletics. After high school, she played at Valparaiso University.  She obtained her undergraduate degree in Finance and a Masters in International Economics and Finance. Now she is a Marketing & Sales Analyst for SkyService Business Aviation and she is very excited to start her coaching career with All In.  

 

Calvin Davis

As a lifelong athlete, Calvin Davis is no stranger to the game of basketball. Born and raised in Evanston, IL, Calvin begin playing in 4th grade and played every grade level. He was apart of the inaugural traveling basketball team in Evanston in the 90s. As a coach, Calvin brought ALL IN their first State Championship. He approaches the game basketball with the desire to not only teach the sport, yet to develop life skills. He is focused on empowering his players to be strong on/off the court. Calvin is passionate about studying the game and understanding the benefit of being a sound teammate. He continues to enhance his coaching style and abilities by a staying on top of the new skills and methodology that will help mold young, talented players into stellar athletes. After time away, Calvin is excited to be back working with the ALL IN ATHLETICS Family and looking forward to a great season! 

Carlos Brown

Coach Brown was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He went to High School at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School where he play varsity basketball all 4 years. Coach Brown is currently a Junior at Carthage College where he is earning his degree in Management and Economics while being a starting defensive end/outside linebacker for the football team. Carlos as a passion for sports and economics and plans on propelling his community forward by opening middle schools in low income areas and provide young children with the opportunity of great academics and youth sports. 

Charlie Almeroth

Chase Collins

Coach Chase is from Nashville, TN and has been involved with basketball for 23 years, either as a player, trainer, and now a coach. Along with ALL IN, he is the head basketball coach of the Vernon Hills 5th grade feeder team as well as the director of basketball camps for Vernon Hills. The game of basketball has done so much for him and he wants to share the knowledge he as learned and provide the same experiences he was able to have growing up playing the game he loves. 

Chris Hart

Chris is a young coach that loves the game and is very passionate about coaching/teaching it. He is still a student of the game and is always looking at ways to improve his coaching. He started coaching in 2016 with the Memorial Park Wildcats. In 2019 and 2020 he was the head Freshman coach and assistant Sophomore coach at St. Joseph High School.

As a player Chris played for the historic St. Joseph Chargers where he was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.  He was a 3 year varsity started, Conference MVP, All-State honorable mention, and a 2 time All- Conference recipient. He attended attended Saint Ambrose University but unfortunately due to injuries he was not able to play.

Chris is now part of the ALL IN Family and also owns a small basketball training business where he helps athletes get to the next level!

 

Courtney Thomas

Coach Thomas attend Loyola Academy from 2006-2008 where she was both a varsity basketball player and a varsity track and field sprinter. After Loyola she transferred to Montini Catholic for her remaining high school years where she help lead Montini to a state title in 2010. After high school, Coach Thomas went to play 4 years of Collegiate basketball at Marquette University, graduating with a degree in Advertising and Marketing. She recently coached with the Glenbrook South Feeder program and looks forward to continuing to grow as a coach and help athletes develop on and off the court.

Dan Perillo

Dan has been with ALL IN Athletics from the beginning. He has coached basketball from middle school to high school for the past 16 years and his passion for the game is 2nd none. He has coached some of the best Elite High School girls teams in the program for the past 6 years. Before his time at ALL IN, he coached several teams at Full Package and carried his teams to top 10 finishes in the country numerous times. Dan is also a teacher and coach at MacArthur Middle School in Mount Prospect.

Dan Rodell

Dan Rodell graduated from Glenbrook South High School in 2002. He played Varsity basketball his junior and senior years. Dan was known as a defensive stopper and 3-pt specialist while at GBS. After GBS, Dan graduated from the University of Iowa with degrees in Journalism and History. While at Iowa, Dan was a sports radio host for KRUI and a sports journalist for the Daily Iowan, where he covered Iowa summer league basketball.

Dan is currently the Director of the GBS Jr. Titans Feeder Basketball and Program Director at Hi Five Sports Clubs. He has over 8 years of experience coaching and training all levels of youth and junior high basketball. 

David Kay

David Kay is the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at McHenry College. David is a product of Maine East High School in Park Ridge. He was a three-sport standout for the Blue Demons (basketball, baseball and football). After high school, Coach Kay went on to to play basketball at Harper College before moving to Quincy University. Following college, Kay has worked as a coach and personal trainer, including an 11-year stint at Joy of the Game with current positions at ALL IN Athletics in Deerfield, Illinois and Lifetime Fitness.

David Purcell

David grew up in Palatine and attended Palatine High School. After high school, he attended Illinois State University. David graduated from ISU in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education. He has extensive experience working with youth, including coaching numerous 4th-8th grade boys teams with ALL IN since the spring of 2015, coaching middle school basketball, and working for the Glencoe Park District Summer Camp. David is a dedicated coach that instills hard work and expects 110% from his players all of the time.

Devon (DJ) Jackson

DJ Jackson is a former Army medic. He grew up playing  basketball his whole life. Coach Jackson has 2 years of experience coaching  an Army Unit basketball team and 2 years of experience coaching 8th grade football for the Jr Zeebees, the Zion Benton feeder program. He has a BS degree in HIM/Health Sciences from the University of Illinois-Chicago. Coach Jackson is passionate about shaping the minds of the the youth to become outstanding and contributing members of society.

Dylan Sussman

Dylan Sussman is a senior at Deerfield High School.  He has been playing competitive basketball since he was 9 years old.  His love of the game was fostered by playing in local programs such as ALL IN Athletics and the Deerfield Feeder program.  Dylan is a 3 sport athlete at Deerfield High School, including the boys basketball program. He enjoys teaching kids the fundamentals of the game and the value of hardwork, grit and teamwork.

Francis Cain

Francis Cain has been playing basketball since he was in fourth grade. He played three out of the four years at his high school, Niles North. Francis also played one season for ALL IN, for Coach Ryon Gilbert. Francis is very passionate about the game of basketball and loves to teach the game and also learn new things about the sport. Francis is excited to coach and help his teams compete, win, learn and have fun! 

Garrett Staniec

Jack Carney

Jack played basketball and volleyball at Deerfield High School where he was a 2-time Regional Champion basketball player. He was also named to the Central Suburban League All-Conference Team and All-Lake County team in 2011. 

He graduated from Drake University in 2015 with an undergraduate degree and from St. Louis University in 2018 with a law degree. While at Drake, Jack assisted the Men’s Basketball Program with recruiting visits. 

Currently, Coach Carney is the Assistant Varsity Coach for Deerfield High School and works as an Instructional Aide at DHS. Coach Carney always brings the energy and strives to help every player improve their game every time they step on the court.

Janelle Alba-Garner

Janelle ended her AAU career with Madie Kaelber under Matt Truding on an ADIDAS® Top 10 team. She was a four year starter at Maine East HS and still holds the record for the second most points scored in girl’s basketball history, and stands first in records for the most assists and rebounds. Aside from being an All-State and IHSA scholar athlete, she was MEHS Athlete of the year and the CSL North Player of the year (with AIA teammate Jeannie Boehm being CSL South POY). She went on to play point guard for the University of St. Thomas, a previously elite level D3, now D1 institution in Minnesota. She helped her team go 31-1 for the season and receive 3rd place at the NCAA Final Four in 2016. As for professional experience, in early 2021 she was invited to combines and tryouts for the Philippines women’s national basketball team.

She first started coaching with AIA in her senior year of high school, and since she’s now graduated, she’s super happy to be back with even more experience under her belt to share with our girls

Jeff Monroe

Coach Monroe was born and raised in Chicago, where he attended Gordon Tech High School and Northeastern Illinois University. He is a retired Chicago Board of Trade floor trader/broker. He has been coaching youth basketball for more than 40 years. In his coaching tenure, Coach Monroe has spent 20 years as Head Coach of the Deerfield Young Warriors Feeder program. He has been an AAU basketball coach for 30+ years, including several teams that have finished top ten in the AAU National Tournament. Numerous team members that Coach Monroe has coached have continued playing in college, Europe and even the NBA. In addition to coaching, Coach Monroe is a staff member at Canlan Sports Libertyville and is a one on one and group skills trainer. Coach Monroe raised 3 sons in Deerfield and currently resides in Grayslake.

Jeff Pearson

Jeff has over 40 years experience in basketball as a multi-sport athlete in both high school and college, assistant men's college coach (Division 1 and Division 3 levels), head high school girls varsity coach, former Maine West High School feeder program founder/director, and owner of skill development/training company.

Coach Pearson has coached/trained players that have been a McDonalds All-American (2020), 1st Team All-Selections, finished 1st (2019) and 3rd (2018) in IHSA girls basketball, many players who played at various levels of college, and several players who have gone onto professional basketball careers. Additionally, he has been a skills instructor for the ALL IN Athletics girls basketball elite teams. He has used the game of basketball to teach the "life lesson" every player needs to be successful whether they are an elite level player or decide not to play beyond middle school or high school. His positive attitude and love of the game help each player to grow in their skills, become more confident in their abilities, and enjoy being part of a team.

Joseph Faraci

Joe is a graduate of Buffalo Grove High School. While in high school, he played for ALL IN Athletics. Joe went on to play college basketball at Culver-Stockton College. During his junior year he received an opportunity to play professionally in Zaragoza, Spain. After playing overseas, Joe completed his education from Robert Morris University with Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance along with a minor in economics. 

Since graduating, Joe has been an assistant coach for Thomas Middle School’s 8th grade team. He has also coached the 6th and 8th grade Buffalo Grove feeder teams.

Joe’s passion for the game has given him an abundance of opportunities and knowledge. His main goal is to pass on the knowledge and skill to the next generation. 

John Gonnella

John has been coaching basketball for the past 15 years. He has been the director and a coach at all levels for the Schaumburg Girls Feeder program. He most recently has been a coach for the Fremd Girls Feeder program.  At the AAU level, John has coached teams from 6th grade boys through National Elite 16U and 17U teams. His passion and his dedication to making his players the best they can be makes him a great addition to this program. 

Kelsey Coshun

Kelsey was born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She went to high school at Tremper High School where she played Varsity Basketball for all four years. She is currently a Junior at Carthage College where she is earning a degree in Social Work while also being  the starting post for the Women's Basketball team. Kelsey has a love for kids and hopes to one day be able to be a Social worker in a high school where she is able to help kids on and off the basketball court.

Kentrell Johnson

Kentrell Johnson is a very fun guy to be around, but when it comes to sports he hate losing! He grew up around the game of basketball. From a very young age, his dad Coach Antwon had a ball in his hands, and it became like another language that he was able to speak fluently. He played basketball for 7 years ending his career after his high school senior year. Coach Kentrell is very passionate about the game. He wants to be able to pass on his knowledge of the game as well as learn from others such as players and other coaches. 

Kris Ison

Kristin played 4 years of Varsity basketball at Lake Forest High School, graduating in 2005. After high school she extended her basketball career to the collegiate level, playing for Northwestern University. At Northwestern, Kristin led the Big Ten in free-throw percentage. Kristin graduated in 2010 and has been coaching ever since. She has coached high school basketball in Scottsdale, Arizona and San Jose, California. When Coach Ison moved back to Chicago, she joined the ALL IN coaching staff. She currently lives in the Northwest suburbs and is a mother of 2 boys. We are grateful to have such a great role model to coach the players in the program.

Lauren Herrmann

Lauren was born and raised in Hampshire, Illinois. She attended Hampshire High School where she played basketball all 4 years. Lauren is currently a Junior at Carthage College where her love and passion for the game continues as she is the starting guard for the Women's Basketball Team. She is working on getting her degree in Exercise and Sports Science where she hopes to become a personal trainer and help people of all ages achieve their physical and mental goals. 

Luis Castillo

Luis played varsity basketball at Grayslake Central where he graduated from in 2015. From then on he worked with the College of Lake County mens basketball summer program his freshman year. He developed a passion for coaching and training youth programs when he began his coaching journey for the Grayslake Boys Feeder program, as well as AAU programs in Lake County and the Chicagoland area. Luis recently graduated from DePaul University in 2022 with a degree in Health Science. He plans to use this degree to help athletes at all levels increase their skills and performance.

Lynn Mitchem

Lynn was a four-year letter winner at Butler University, in Indiana. He finished his collegiate career as the Bulldogs' third all-time leading scorer with 1,798 points. He is also 1st in the career for field goals made, 3rd for career rebounds and 7th for career field goal percentage.

A three-time First team All-Midwestern Collegiate Conference honoree, two-time Associated press First team member and the Butler student-athlete of the year in 1983, Mitchem led the Bulldogs in scoring during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons. Following his standout collegiate career, Mitchem was drafted by the NBA's Indiana Pacers.

Following a brief professional career overseas in Bahrain, Mitchem landed his first collegiate coaching post in 1985 as he served as a graduate assistant coach at Purdue University for one season under the legendary Gene Keady. He then went on to an assistant position at Nebraska, a job he held from 1986-1992. At Nebraska, Mitchem assisted in recruiting one of the nation's top 10 recruiting classes in 1991, while helping turn the Cornhuskers into a perennial top 20 team and a regular contender for the Big Eight title. Mitchem was instrumental in recruiting a pair of NBA first round draft picks to Nebraska during his time there-Rich King, who was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics in 1991 and Eric Piatowski, who was chosen by the Los Angeles Clippers in 1994.

In 1992, Mitchem joined the Washington State basketball staff as an assistant coach while also serving as the program's recruiting coordinator. In 1993, he returned to the Midwest to serve as an assistant at Ball State for one season before joining Ken Burmeister's staff at Loyola for four years.

A 1983 graduate of Butler, Mitchem earned a bachelor's degree in physical education with a minor in special education. He is a member of both the National Association of Basketball Coaches and the Black Coaches Association.

Madie Nitsch

Madie was born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She started playing basketball with Matt Truding in 5th grade at Full Package Athletics and followed him to ALL IN Athletics to finish her high school AAU career. At ALL IN, Madie was part of the adidas® Top 10, which was an honor designated to the Top 10 adidas® teams in the country. Madie went to high school at Indian Trail High School in Wisconsin, where she played Varsity Basketball and started every game for all 4 years. While at Indian Trail, Madie became the leading scorer in the basketball program (boys or girls) and broke the scoring record for Girls Basketball in Kenosha County. Madie continued her basketball career at Carthage College where she was again a 4 year starter.  She graduated from Carthage with a Bachelors degree in History.  She had planned to teach and coach, but decided to follow her true passion of youth sports and coaching.  

In her role at ALL IN, Madie hopes to create the same positive experiences she had at ALL IN through building strong relationships with the girls and their families and pushing the girls to be the best they can be on and off the court.  

Manny Casas

Coach Casas graduated from Grayslake Central High School, where he played basketball and helped run the Grayslake Feeder program as a head coach. With 10 years of coaching experience, he was a cornerstone for AAU programs like Kessel Heat, as well as Fremd Feeder where he help rejuvenate the program. Coach Casas is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, where he graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Business Management. He has been involved in all aspects of basketball from refereeing, coaching, playing, and training where he has held private lessons and group workouts for all ages from youth to college prospects.

Medina Skenderi

Medina Skenderi is currently a student at Northeastern Illinois University, majoring in Physical Education. She grew up in Morton Grove and graduated from Niles West High School in 2016. From 2016 to 2019, she played basketball and soccer at Oakton Community College. She has experience coaching middle school basketball at MCC Academy for 4 years. She currently coaches at Sacred Heart School in Chicago. Medina is excited to coach at ALL IN and is looking forward to working with girls who want to improve their game and work hard to be the best player they can be. 

Melanie Schwerdtmann

Melanie is a 2011 graduate of Jacobs High School in Algonquin, IL. She was an integral part of the girls’ basketball team where she contributed to winning a conference championship in 2010 and team MVP in 2011. Upon graduation, Melanie pursued and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Elmhurst College from 2011-2015, where she also played for their Woman’s Basketball team and was a 4 year letter winner as well as receiving Player of the Week accolades. Melanie currently coaches girls’ basketball for Hampshire High School as well as teaching at the local elementary school. She is very excited and eager to continue her coaching career with ALL IN!

Michael Patlovich

Mike grew up in Lake Bluff, IL and attended Lake Forest High School where he played varsity basketball, soccer and baseball. After high school he attended Miami (OH) where he played 4 years of D1 baseball. For the past 20 years, Mike has coached youth and high school baseball and basketball. He is currently beginning his 3rd year as a Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach at Lake Forest High School. Prior to Lake Forest, Mike spent 9 years as a Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach at Waukegan High School. This included 2 Sweet Sixteen teams. He has coached several high school players who have gone on to play D1 Basketball and Professional Basketball.  Mike takes pride in mentoring and counseling players on and off the court.

Munaf Chand

Munaf was born and raised on the northwest side of Chicago, went to Von Steuben high school, and studied Finance at Northeastern Illinois University. After college, he went on to work numerous jobs for large companies including Walgreens and PepsiCo. He took a timeout to substitute his finance career for tech and did some consulting at Accenture. Munaf currently works for a startup company in Utah, Podium. Although Munaf has experienced great success professionally, his heart is still with basketball and has the dream to one day to work in the NBA, in the middle of the action. 

At ALL IN, Coach Munaf is looking to turn his longtime passion for the game into a positive impact for younger players. He loves to travel, eat and enjoy live basketball games. Munaf's goal for the players he coaches is to learn, have fun and win some games!

Nathan del Rosario

Nathan grew up in the Chicago suburbs. He played a small stint after high school at Benedictine University, before transferring to the College of Lake County, where he is currently pursuing his degree in Exercise Science. Nathan is a basketball junkie and lives for the game. In addition to coaching for ALL IN, he is currently the Head Basketball Coach at St. Norbert School (Northbrook), runs NDR Skills - a basketball skill development company and is an intern for the coaching staff of the WNBA Chicago Sky. Nathan is a Certified 94feet Skills Trainer and has been mentored by Phil Handy, the Los Angeles Lakers Assistant Coach.

Nick Leach

Nick grew up in Gurnee, IL where he attended Warren Township High School. After high school Nick attended Loras College where he played college basketball for one year before retiring to focus on his academic studies. For the past six years Nick has continued to share his passion and knowledge for the game by coaching girls basketball for various programs. 

Nikolay Markov

Nikolay Markov grew up for Russia and played for his high school team. After moving to the USA in 2005, he has coached basketball teams in church leagues, recreational league and occasionally helped with his son’s AAU team in Virginia. 

After moving to Illinois he continued to coach basketball, first with a feeder program and later he was very excited to join ALL IN Athletics in the spring of 2021.

Orly Gino

Coach Gino brings a passion and energy to the program. He also loves to teach the game, and brings a love for basketball. Coach Gino played basketball at Bolingbrook High School from 1989-1993. Orly began coaching in 2008 with St. Mary’s  in Buffalo Grove, where he was the 3rd grade boys coach. 

He then worked with St. Viator Feeder for 1 year coaching the 8th grade boys. From there, he went on to coach at St. Peter Lutheran in Arlington Heights for 3 years as the 6th and JV boys teams' coach.  From there he went on to coach AAU and Feeder teams.  He worked for Joy of the Game and coached Lincolnshire Feeder program for 3rd and 4th grade boys.  Coach Gino was also the head coach for Buffalo Grove Feeder 6th grade boys for 1 year. 

Coach Gino now coaches for the Stevenson Patriots feeder program and is the head coach for 6th grade boys.  He also coaches at Our Lady of Perpetual Help School as their 6th grade girls team coach.  Aside from coaching travel basketball, Coach Gino works as a Registrar for Lincoln College of Technology and before that served 8 years in the United States Army.  Coach Gino has been around basketball his entire life and enjoys teaching the game and seeing growth in the kids. Coach Gino exudes energy when it comes to coaching and the game of basketball. 

Oscar Rodriguez

Red Bauer

Coach Bauer has began playing basketball around the time he was in  7th grade year and has been in love with the sport ever since. He played travel basketball throughout high school, mainly through All In. He has been coaching youth basketball for about two years now and has an extreme passion for it. Coach Bauer can understand being a youth hooper who wants to be serious about growing their skills and becoming the best that they can possibly be. He take great pride in being someone who can help guide the younger generation of basketball players down this path.

Robert Rojas

Coach Rojas was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois where he graduated and played basketball for Saint Patrick High School. He also played for ALL IN for 3 years during the spring and summer seasons. Coach Rojas also played for Temple University's Basketball club. He helped coach a grade school team, leading them to the finals. He also has coached for summer camps with PGC and Breakthrough Basketball. Robert is devoted to helping youth reach their full basketball potential and help them grow not only as a basketball player, but as a person as well. Robert expects and wants the best in every player he coaches. 

Ryan Smekrud

Ryan graduated from Hampshire High School in 2021. Ryan has been playing basketball since he was 8 years old. Ryan went to sectionals his junior year for basketball. Ryan was one of the best dunkers in Illinois, all throughout high school. After Ryan graduated he had offers from multiple schools but ended up not playing in college and pursued a career in modeling. Now Ryan is starting to get into coaching and is hoping to make an attempt to go back to school and play basketball in the future.

Paris Paramore

Paris Paramore played college basketball for Triton College from (2008-2010) and was eventually offered a scholarship to play at the Division l level for Central Michigan University (2010-2012). Paris was captain of his team at Triton College and was named North Central Community College Conference (N4C) Honorable Mention his freshman year and First Team All-N4C selection in 2009-2010. He graduated from CMU in May 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management. After graduating, Paris continued his education and received his Master's Degree in Sport Administration in December 2014. Paris coached two middle school aged teams for ALL IN Northwest during the spring 2015 and summer 2015 travel seasons. Outside of working with ALL IN Athletics, Paris has been a station head counselor for Hi-Five Sports Club and was an intern/coach at Full Package Athletics during the summer of 2014.

Phil Ralston

Phil Ralston is the current head coach for the varsity boys at Glenbrook South. Phil has over 27 years of coaching experience at the college, high school and club levels.  His knowledge of the game really separates him from other coaches.  

Rey Figueroa

Coach Figueroa graduated from Waukegan High School, where he played soccer, baseball and football. After college, Rey went on to play collegiate and professional baseball. Due to injuries, Rey had to cut his playing career short and decided to come back to Illinois. He has since been coaching youth sports for over 20 years. Coach Figueroa coached the Lake County YMCA's high school basketball team to a league championship in its first year of existence. Figueroa also taught general basketball skills in Waukegan as part of after school programs, youth baseball as well as football. Prior to coming to ALL IN in 2016, Rey spent 6 years coaching for Joy of the Game and the prior 4 years coaching youth basketball in Waukegan for the Jr. Bulldogs, where he won 3 league championships. Since coming to ALL IN, Rey has coached 10-17 year old boys teams, from feeder teams to the most competitive elite teams that travel on a National level. Coach Figueroa has an unmatched championship pedigree as a basketball coach, which includes 4 AAU State Championships, a NY2LA GNBA Championship, a Lebron James Championship & 6 nationally ranked teams. In the spring/summer of 2019, Rey coached ALL IN's 15U-17U adidas Silver Gauntlet teams. Coach Figueroa stresses hard work, sound fundamentals and teamwork but really enjoys being around his teams having fun on the court.

Rick Williams

Ron Abrams

Coach Ron has been coaching girls basketball for over 10 years. He grew up in Deerfield and played basketball for the Deerfield High School Warriors. He attended the University of Illinois with the ‘89 Flyin' Illini and has a JD from DePaul Law School. In his free time he works as a Real Estate professional.  Ron has a long time passion for the game and loves to see players of all levels improve skill wise throughout the season. Ron teaches motion offenses and plays man to man defense. He looks for creative thinking and mental focus on the court. Ron is the proud father of 3 daughters, two former ALL IN Ballers and a Pom Pon Cheerleader. He received a Character Counts award from the City of Highland Park for his involvement in youth sports and was named Chicago’s Realtor of the Year for his volunteer work with the 14,000 member Chicago Association of Realtors. Ron is a girls basketball coach at Highland Park High School. He has a strong Instagram game.  #instadad #instacoach #ronabrams

Ryan Matthew

Ryan started his collegiate career at Oakton Community College where he was nationally ranked among the top 50 in points scored. After being awarded NJCAA Player of the week 3 times in his Sophomore season, Ryan went on to be a First-Team All Conference and Region IV Selection. Following his career in Junior College, Ryan received a full scholarship to Robert Morris University in Downtown Chicago. Ryan was selected as captian for his Junior and Senior year and he was responsible for leading the team to recording the highest steals per game and forced turnovers in all NAIA. Ryan is now turning professional and will be continuing his career overseas.

In addition to his playing career, he has been coaching at Oakton Community College as a volunteer assistant for the past 3 years as well as training athletes of all ages since his college years.

Ryan Ralston

Ryan is both a passionate teacher and student of basketball. Currently wrapping up his senior year at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Ryan is also entering his second year coaching with ALL IN. Ryan was fortunate to play basketball for some great teams while growing up, including playing on a 30-5 Geneva team that finished 4th in the state in 2015. After high school, Ryan spent the 2016-17 season as a student manager with the Iowa State Men’s Basketball Program, where he helped train and work daily with current NBA players such as Monte Morris and Matt Thomas. Ryan has been the 7th grade boys basketball coach at Wood Oaks Junior High School in Northbrook since 2019. As a coach, Ryan emphasizes the ideas of being great teammates, displaying excellent sportsmanship, and playing fundamentally-sound basketball on both ends of the floor. Ryan thoroughly enjoys being a part of the ALL IN family and is always looking forward to helping ALL IN athletes not only improve as basketball players, but also as young men and women.

Ryon Gilbert

After graduating with a BSBA in Finance & International Business from Valparaiso University in 2011 and playing baseball, Ryon never forgot the experience he had with the Evanston Basketball and Baseball Athletics. Ryon brings in over 7 years of experience coaching. He has served as a Head Coach for the Evanston Wilditks Boys Feeder Program and also as an assistant coach for the Northridge Preparatory High School and Middle School Boys Basketball Program and Feeder Program. Ryon has soaked in much knowledge from the mentors he's gained along the way and has been dedicated to improving player's confidence on and off the court and building strong character off and on the court. Ryon understands the fundamentals of the game of basketball and emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, competitiveness, offensive ball movement and defensive principles. Currently Ryon works for Metropolitan Capital Bank & Trust in Wealth Management Advisory and in his free time enjoys snowboarding, watching Netflix and playing in adult basketball and softball leagues. 

Sean Connor

Sean graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2007 and will be completing his Masters of Arts in Education at North Park University in 2015. He is currently a teacher at DePaul Prep (formerly Gordon Tech) and coaching for the Boys' Basketball Program as the Head Freshman Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach. Sean's coaching background at the elite level is exceptional. He has coached for numerous programs and national basketball camps, including: 5-Star, Ganon Baker, Dwayne Wade, Foreman High School, North Park University (Graduate Assistant), and many more. Sean puts in 110% to coaching his teams. He not only wants success for the team but he cares about his players. With an emphasis on team and player development, any young man that plays for Sean is lucky to work with someone that cares so much about their personal well being on and off the court.

Taha Doha

Taha is currently a junior at UIC. Basketball has been apart of his like since 5th grade when he started playing AAU, Feeder, and joined other forms of organized competitive basketball leagues. After graduating from Niles North High School where he played basketball all 4 years  he became an assistant coach for a community basketball league in Evanston. Taha is a great coach and continuously helps kids become the best players they can be. 

Thomas Wilder

Thomas has over 20 years in experience coaching youth basketball. He has organized various basketball programs at Elgin High School on all levels, YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, Feeder Programs, City Public Programs, School Districts, Travel Teams and AAU. His practices are designed to motivate students and instruct athletes in game strategies and techniques. Thomas utilizes natural compassion, knowledge, and communication skills to mentor and motivate young men and women in finding success and gratification in their chosen field.

Traell McClellan

Traell McClellan is from Chicago. In high school, he played 4 years of Varsity and AAU basketball. In his freshman year of high school, his team went to the final four of the state tournament. Traell is an outstanding coach. Before ALL IN, he coached junior high girls with the Wisconsin Wave. We are excited to have Traell on board with ALL IN. His experience playing and coaching make him a great asset to the program.

Tyler Pearson

Coach Pearson is a college graduate of Kent State University, where during his time there expanded his knowledge on the game of basketball. While at Kent State, Coach Pearson served as a basketball manager/practice player for both men’s and women’s basketball programs. During his summer breaks Coach Pearson would come back home and fulfill roles as an assistant coach/Intern for ALL IN Athletics.

Prior To Kent State, Coach Pearson attended Downers Grove South High School. Where he had 4 years of playing experience, which includes: two years varsity experience, and four years of elite AAU playing experience. Tyler participated as a finalist in the IHSA Three Point Contest, as well as playing on a Super Sectional finalist team, and a regional final team. Tyler has a total of 15 years playing experience.

Outside of ALL IN, Tyler works for the Windy City Bulls, in the NBA G League, and operates his own basketball individual/group training business! 

Tyrone "TJ" Jackson

Tyrone “TJ” Jackson played high school basketball for 4 years at Zion Benton Township High School, graduating in 2011. In 2010 he help lead his team to the North Suburban Conference title while also finishing top 10 in state for the 3 point contest.  He received an offer to play at Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. He has played sports his whole life mainly basketball, football and volleyball. He has coached the youth Kenosha basketball YMCA league for 2 years and most recently joined the ALL IN coaching staff in winter of 2019. Coach Jackson is passionate about mentoring the youth and not only teaching them the skills and right way to play the game but also  the importance of teamwork, dedication and leadership that will help in their basketball careers and in life.

Will Siegel

Will grew up in Glenview, Illinois and has been playing basketball since he was 6 and has always had a passion for playing and studying the game. He is currently a Senior at Glenbrook South High School and plans on studying Sports Journalism and Commutations in college. He has played AAU for numerous teams and ended his last two years of his AAU career with ALL IN Athletics. Will is excited to share his knowledge of the game to the next generation of basketball and help develop them into the best basketball players they can be!
