Coach Balaban grew up around basketball. He was either in the gym or watching his brother's high school games as a kid. Having paid such close attention to the game starting an early age, he had enough knowledge and confidence to be given the opportunity by the feeder program coaches and athletic director to lead basketball clinics and camps for younger athletes when he was just a 7th grader. Since 7th grade, he has continued to lead clinics and train the youth in his community. This has given him experience with a variety of ages and skill levels. As a player, Coach Balaban was a three year varsity starter for Maine West High School. At Maine West, he won the regional and sectional three point contest and placed in the top 10 at state in his junior season. Stefan made over 100 three pointers in his varsity career. Coach Balaban has been coaching with ALL IN since the spring of 2017. He has a great way of connecting with all players from kindergarten through high school. We are lucky to have him on staff, as he is a great role model for the players.
